The GR3C Centre presented for the second time at the invitation of the Irish Software Innovation Network held at Ibec in Dublin on November 9th.

The Centre is extremely appreciative of Dave Feenan’s hosting of this event, which also featured a highly informative update from Financial Services Ireland Director, Marc Coleman.

The GR3C team on this occasion was formed by Leona O’Brien, the Italian duo Marcello Ceci and Massimo Della Rovere together with the Centre’s Director and Academic Director, Peter Cowap and Professor Tom Butler, focusing on a variety of issues including the opportunities and potential use cases presented by the growth in ‘RegTech.’

The team presented on current GR3C RegTech research projects, including those targeted at regulatory interpretation and consumption challenges which are at the forefront of the Financial Industry’s GRC opportunity for ‘Ireland Inc’ to take due advantage of, not least through IFS 2020.’

The Centre wishes to thank all who kindly took the time (in the immediate aftermath of news from the US) to support the GRC Technology Centre.’

Next up is the Centre’s 2nd ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM at the Dublin Convention Centre on December 14th – further details to follow!
