Insigma Hengtian Software Ltd’s Chief Innovation Officer, Albert Ma, in Cork City together with the GR3C’s Principal Investigator, Prof. Tom Butler and Senior Legal Researcher, Leona O’Brien, at the latest Cork Financial Services Forum event at the Imperial Hotel on the South Mall on September 26th.
The GR3C participated at the 2nd FPAI/ADAPT Technology & Research Showcase at EY on September 28. Fintan O’Malley of Fidelity Ireland presented on the Centre’s ongoing collaboration with the GR3C and how it had provided an opportunity to develop a highly effective framework for research collaboration.
The GR3C proudly features in the MarketFinTech 2017 RegTech Supplier Performance Report, together with some Centre Members, Fenergo (congratulations to them again!) and Regulatory Risk Intelligence RegTech player, Corlytics – two fantastic examples of global leading Irish Regtech players.

When it comes to Brexit, the only certainty is uncertainty, and that goes for FinTech as much as any sector. What we do know increasingly, thanks to the work of the Financial Services Governance Risk and Compliance Technology Centre (GR3C), is what good looks like.
Researchers at the GR3C, together with Centre Project Manager, Declan O’Flynn, visited St Patrick’s BNS, Gardiner’s Hill, Cork, to help install 23 computers.
Dzmitry, Marcello, Firas, Massimo, Hai Huang and Leona had an absolute blast with the staff and pupils, momentarily taking a break from devising machine-assisted ‘RegTech’ solutions …
